Company Overview:
We are a dynamic and growing seafood processing company with multiple business entities under management. As we expand, we are seeking a seasoned Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple entities within the group
- Generate monthly Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
- Oversee corporate tax compliance, including computation, filing, and liaison with tax agents/auditors
- Handle GST filing and submission in compliance with IRAS regulations
- Manage and consolidate budgets and forecasts, collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Produce detailed sales reports and analysis for management review
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting and liquidity planning
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of month-end and year-end close processes
- Utilize AutoCount accounting software for bookkeeping and reporting tasks
- Maintain internal financial controls and processes for efficiency and compliance
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in manufacturing or processing industries
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations/compliance and financial reporting standards
- Experience in budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in AutoCount accounting software will be advantagous
- Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities across multiple entities
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong sense of accountability
