We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our client's finance team. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IFRS and Accounting Standards , ensuring the integrity of financial records and compliance with statutory obligations. The ideal candidate will also provide accounting guidance to cross-functional teams and oversee a team of 3–5 accounting personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure accurate month-end closing processes, with all postings completed by Work Day 2 .
- Review and validate gross profit (GP) margins to ensure alignment with contractual terms, including necessary adjustments.
- Ensure timely compliance with statutory reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Prepare and ensure the signing of resolutions related to key management decisions.
- Manage and respond to queries from ACRA , IRAS , and other regulatory bodies.
- Ensure adherence to client-specific contractual payment terms.
- Monitor and follow up closely on outstanding Accounts Receivable from Principals (ARP) .
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with internal and corporate timelines.
- Navigating and interpreting complex contracts while managing internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Leading through fast-paced changes and high-volume activities such as Internal Audits and corporate tax filing , including collaboration with tax agent.
- Analyze and adjust month-end GP margins.
- Review and approve monthly payment vouchers for principals and vendors.
- Manage and follow up on aged ARP collections. Investigate and escalate unusual transactions to relevant stakeholders (e.g., Principals, Client Services).

- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from a recognized university.
- Professional qualification: CA or CPA is mandatory.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience , including at least 2–3 years in a Big 4 accounting firm .
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS , SAP , and BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across departments.
