We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance department in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with reporting to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry, maintain and update accounting records.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents for auditing purposes.
- Support the finance team in preparing financial reports and analysis.
- Handle petty cash transactions and expense claims.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on financial matters.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
