Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing full set of accounts, support statutory audit and tax purpose.
- Interact with departments/vendors over calls or emails, reconciliation issues, seeking clarification, follow-ups, etc.
- Assist in preparing monthly closing of accounts including monthly bank reconciliation, notes to accounts, business report, stock reconciliation etc.
- Interact with auditors, tax agents and other related parties.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reporting.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Must have a positive working attitude and able to work as a team.
- Reliable, meticulous, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Good administration and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferable experience in the Retail industry.
- Will be stationed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
