Job Responsiblites
- Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, payroll and other financial transactions promptly and accurately
- Prepare journal entries, audit schedules, P&L statements, balance sheets, and year-end closing reports
- Liaise with tax agents, auditors, and accounting software providers as required
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of GST returns Any other ad-hoc accounting as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (F&B or retail industry experience is a plus)
- Proficient in using MYOB Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping procedures
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
