ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Job Description & Requirements
- Report to the Cost Manager
- Responsible for timely and accurate monthly closing
- Preparing payments, tax invoices and journals
- Cheque issuance and Giro payments
- Check petty cash reimbursement and claims
- Maintain daily cash book schedule & monitor cashflow and balance
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Attend to daily accounting functions
- Comply to financial accounting standards, tax legislative requirements
- Monitor for smooth operation of internal control systems and procedures
- Do monthly project cost reporting to submit to HQ in China
- Ad-hoc assignments from Cost Manager
- Independent and can work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work half day on Saturdays
- Must be able to work at the site office
