As the Analyst specializing in the electricity market and sustainable energy, you will be crucial in fostering and managing strategic partnerships that contribute to EMC’s growth and commitment to green economy initiatives. Your expertise and existing relationships with key stakeholders will be essential in navigating the dynamic landscape of the energy sector. You will assist the team lead / EMC’s management team in partnership management. Partnership management includes managing EMC relationships with partners and partnership projects, including contributing to the project as a subject matter expert and reporting the project’s progress to the management team/stakeholders committee.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry players, NGOs and community organizations.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of the electricity market, identifying trends, opportunities and challenges that impact partnerships and project viability. Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes and innovations in the green economy and provide regular updates to EMC’s management team.
- Communication and Reporting: Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders to support partnership initiatives. Effectively communicate the partnership's value to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organization objections.
- Advocacy and Education: Represent EMC at industry conferences, seminars, and events to advocate for sustainable energy solutions and to represent our partnership interests. Educate partners and stakeholders about EMC’s initiatives and the importance of transiting to sustainable energy solutions
- Energy Market Modelling: Basic understanding of modelling techniques and work with EMC’s technical team to assess the feasibility and impact of various solutions on the development of the Singapore energy sector.
