Job Summary: As an Architectural Coordinator for a construction project, you will act as a liaison between architectural design and construction, supporting the smooth progress of the project. You will contribute to ensuring the project is completed on schedule and meets quality standards by managing design documents, resolving design-related issues on-site, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Experience in healthcare or laboratory facility construction projects is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, manage, and distribute architectural design documents (drawings, specifications, etc.).
- Provide technical support and solutions for design-related inquiries and issues on-site.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with the design team, construction team, clients, consultants, and suppliers.
- Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals (Shop Drawings, Material Submittals).
- Assist in ensuring on-site quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Regularly report on project progress and identify potential risks and challenges.
- Support the preparation of as-built documentation and the handover process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as an Architectural Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in healthcare facilities or laboratory (lab) construction projects.
- Experience with construction projects in Singapore is an advantage.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
