Responsibilities:
Strategic Design & Implementation of Reinsurance Solutions
- Assist in creating and refining reinsurance portfolios and bespoke solutions that integrate seamlessly with our company’s overall strategy and product direction.
- Conduct thorough market and risk analyses to fine-tune reinsurance structures that optimize our risk-to-reward balance.
- Participate in ad-hoc actuarial projects and tasks based on department priorities
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with product strategy teams, risk analytics, and other business units to ensure that reinsurance solutions support company objectives.
- Build and nurture relationships with reinsurers, brokers, and other key industry stakeholders to stay ahead of market trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree of Actuarial Science with good progress in actuarial qualifications with US, UK, or Australia Actuarial Institute or newly qualified actuary
- at least 4v- 6 years of work experience in actuarial functions in reinsurance
- Technical, meticulous, and able to apply critical thinking
- Able to communicate in simple and concise way to stakeholders
- Able to work independently and collaborate with other team members within actuarial and other departments
- Adaptable, open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
