Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the on-site operations team, providing clear guidance in decision-making and ensuring smooth daily workflow in a fast-paced, hands-on recycling environment.
- Plan and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, optimize processes, and ensure effective resource utilization for cost-efficient operations.
- Work closely with staff to sort and process waste materials and keep the site organized and safe.
- Keep track of scrap material stock and make sure quality standards are met for different types of materials.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers and buyers; visit customer sites regularly when needed.
- Support sales activities and monitor profit and loss to help the company grow.
- Be ready to take part in physical work when needed and help the team on the ground during busy times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in recycling or waste management operations
- Strong team leadership and people management skills
- Good knowledge of different scrap materials and their quality
- Experience working with customers and buyers
- Understanding of profit and loss (P&L) and basic sales operations
- 100% Onsite work is mandatory , with frequent customer site visits and hands-on engagement
- Comfortable working in a dusty, outdoor environment and doing physical tasks
