InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is seeking a passionate and driven Marketing Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. This hands-on, brand-forward role is suited for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, loves ideating and leading impactful campaigns, and is confident managing cross-functional stakeholders. Aside from championing the day-to-day functions of the marketing department, this role will also directly mentor two team members to ensure all initiatives are delivered on brand, on time, and on budget.

Your Day to Day


DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Oversee hygiene maintenance of the hotel and Publico’s digital touchpoints: Owned website content, e-voucher listings, Google Business Profiles, and third-party sites (e.g., OTA platform listings).
  • Collaborate with appointed digital agencies for SEO content optimization and paid search campaigns, review and optimize campaign performance in consultation with agencies.
  • Develop and execute compelling advertising on direct and third-party channels through IHG Boost, GDS platforms (e.g., Sabre) and Meta (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Develop and execute direct email marketing efforts: calendar creation, design mailers, database maintenance, segmentation strategies, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor the Design & Social Media lead to ensure all social media handles reflect the brand tone, positioning and promotional accuracy.

CAMPAIGNS & PARTNERSHIPS

  • Lead the execution of annual integrated marketing plans for both the hotel and Publico: from concept to securing buy-ins, successful rollout and performance reporting.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop winning partnership ideas for the hotel and Publico, to create compelling marketing moments and commercial opportunities.
  • Key liaison to internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication of marketing objectives, campaign deliverables and support required.
  • Oversee production of visually appealing and effective marketing content by the Design lead. Adapt design for in-house collaterals using Canva (e.g., tent cards, digital posters, website banners).
  • Monitor and track performance to derive meaningful insights and learnings for internal sharing.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

  • Oversee Public relations initiatives: Craft media pitch, champion outreach initiatives, maintain media relations.
  • Develop stay itineraries in consultation with cross-department leaders and external partners and briefing of operational teams prior to hosting date. Conduct follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of media coverage.
  • Archive press clippings and track media value in a timely manner, update brand asset library; provide quarterly public relations coverage reports.
  • Hygiene maintenance of media/influencer lists, with continual efforts to cultivate media network.

BUDGET & REPORTING

  • Oversee budget tracking: ensure actualized and forecast expenses are reported in a timely and accurate manner. Support annual budgeting exercises.
  • Collect vendor quotes, ensure timely approvals and payments for hotel marketing expenses.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and consumer behaviors to identify opportunities.
  • Support performance reporting and forward-looking plans at commercial and departmental meetings.

TEAM & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Supervise and guide the F&B Marketing lead on F&B marketing initiatives, partnerships, content management, and Public relations.
  • Mentor and manage the Design & Social Media lead to deliver best-in-class creative, timely social content, and visually aligned assets.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture with clear priorities, ownership, and support for development.
  • Develop effective cross-departmental relationships to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives and achievement of business objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Reports to the Director of Marketing. Interacts with key internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to partners, suppliers, owning company representatives and members of the local community.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing with minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality marketing, preferably with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrated campaigns. Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Website CMS (Wordpress), Google Ads and Meta Business Suite is highly desirable.
  • Strong aesthetic eye and copywriting sensibility, especially for lifestyle and F&B-driven brands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences and build rapport, capable of supporting cross-functional teamwork with clarity and professionalism.
  • Strong sense of ownership, resourceful problem-solver, is resilient and thrives under pressure.
  • Passion for people, with interest in team mentorship and setting collaborative structures.
  • Creative thinker with a genuine interest in luxury and travel trends.
