Job Description
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching frozen pork products.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods within cold room facilities in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., SFA, HACCP, BRC standards).
- Supervise warehouse staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with procurement and sales teams for stock replenishment.
- Oversee forklift and pallet jack operations, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the warehouse environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Warehouse Management preferred.
- Good knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse best practices.
- Able to work in cold room environment (temperature up to -18°C).
- Forklift license and relevant safety certifications are an advantage.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle warehouse operational demands.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines. Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.
