We are a growing scrap metal recycling company specializing in the collection, processing, and trading of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and sustainability, we are looking for a motivated Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to support our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing daily warehouse activities including receiving, sorting, storing, and dispatching scrap metals.
- Support in supervising warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and productivity.
- Help maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Monitor workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist with coordination of logistics for skip bin movements, dismantling, and reinstatement works when required.
- Inspect and help categorize ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
- Provide input on improving workflow and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse or logistics operations; supervisory or team leader experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of scrap metal materials (ferrous & non-ferrous) preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to handle warehouse duties.
- Willing to learn and take on greater responsibilities.
