Our client operates as a public accounting firm in Singapore, offering a full suite of audit, tax, and advisory services, and is part of an established international network of professional firms.
Job Scope:
- Oversee ongoing compliance and independence monitoring in accordance with ACRA’s Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics, as well as internal firm policies.
- Manage annual compliance processes, including staff confirmations, declarations, and tracking of adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential compliance risks, recommend preventive measures, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory developments.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the System of Quality Management (SoQM) in alignment with SSQM 1 standards.
- Design, monitor, and assess quality management controls, policies, and remediation procedures to ensure effective risk mitigation.
- Strengthen the firm’s overall compliance, risk management, and audit quality frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance on audit methodology, professional standards, and quality control matters. Review findings from internal inspections, propose corrective actions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit tools, methodologies, and protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field; CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in audit, compliance, or technical accounting.
- Well-versed in auditing standards, compliance regulations, and quality control systems. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with experience guiding and training audit professionals.
Working Location: Lavender
Working Hours: 5 days work week (Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm)
Salary: Up to $9,000
