The Engineering and Technology team is at the core of the Shopee platform development. About the Team:
The Business Security team is in charge of Shopee anti-fraud, including client security (e.g. device fingerprint), traffic security (e.g. anti-crawler, waf) and business security (e.g. promo/chargeback/spx/account fraud). The team is also in charge of Monee application security & daily security operation, and data security products and abilities (e.g. KMS and auditing) building.
Job Description:
- Design and develop code based on business requirements
- Support data calculation needs for intelligent risk decision. Delivering high-quality and efficient data computing products
- Participate in offline and real-time data development to support risk analysis, model training, and other risk-related data needs
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, graduating from December 2025 to May 2026
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, etc.)
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Go, Java, or Python
- Prior experience in big data platforms such as Hadoop, Flink, Spark, Hive, or HBase
- Understanding of database system principles and experience with database usage
