Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sector for large-scale waste management and infrastructure projects . The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, foster client relationships, and drive strategic partnerships to secure contracts for the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) and related projects.


Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Market Expansion'

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to secure M&E contracts in waste management, energy recovery, and infrastructure projects.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities in public and private sector tenders (e.g., BCA, PUB, NEA, LTA, JTC).
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the waste-to-energy and M&E construction sector.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, developers, EPC contractors, and technology partners .
  • Lead negotiations, proposals, and presentations to secure high-value contracts.
    Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Tender & Proposal Management

  • Oversee end-to-end bid processes, including RFQ/RFP submissions, pricing strategies, and technical-commercial proposals .
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, and finance teams to ensure competitive and compliant bids.

Revenue Growth & Partnerships

  • Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to long-term revenue growth.
    Explore joint ventures, consortiums, and technology partnerships to enhance project capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil), or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in business development within Singapore’s construction/M&E sector, preferably in waste management, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Skills:
  • Proven track record in winning government/private tenders (e.g., BCA Green Mark, PUB, NEA projects).
  • Strong network with key stakeholders (e.g., contractors, consultants, agencies).
    Excellent negotiation, financial analysis, and proposal writing skills.
  • Knowledge of M&E systems, waste-to-energy technologies, and sustainability trends.
