Responsibilities:
- Break down whole beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and fish into usable cuts for the kitchen
- Trim, portion, and prepare various meats to chef specifications and menu requirements
- Ensure all meats are handled and stored according to food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor quality and freshness of all meat products, reporting any spoilage or concerns
- Clean and maintain station, tools, and equipment to meet health code standards
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts
- Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
- Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
