We are seeking a passionate and motivated Camera Operator to join our team. This position is perfect for someone eager to grow their skills in the media production industry. While experience is a bonus, attitude, willingness and eye for beauty is something valuable.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with setting up and operating cameras during shoots.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of camera equipment.
- Support the Director of Photography and senior crew members as needed.
- Set up and adjust lighting and rigging equipment to meet shoot requirements.
- Collaborate with the production team to build, position, and dismantle equipment safely and efficiently.
Equipment Management :
- Ensure all equipment is neat, organised, and in good working condition.
- Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Collaboration and Initiative :
- Take initiative to propose ideas or improvements during pre-production, shoots, and post-production processes.
- Work seamlessly as part of a team to ensure smooth production workflows.
Requirements :
- Basic understanding of camera and production equipment.
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Attention to detail and a neat, tidy work ethic.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take initiative and offer thoughtful suggestions.
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of grip and camera work.
Preferred but not required :
- Knowledge of lighting and rigging equipment. Familiarity with video editing or post-production workflows.
