The Opportunity: We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Cleaners / Housekeepers to join our essential operations team at the newly revitalized 1939. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all public areas, restrooms, and staff facilities are kept clean, tidy, and sanitized to the highest standards, contributing directly to a comfortable and pleasant experience for all. Key Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning duties across all four floors of the venue, including dining areas, bar spaces, restrooms, stairwells, offices, and back-of-house areas.
- Dusting & Wiping: Dust and wipe down all surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and decorative items.
- Floor Care: Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors regularly, ensuring they are clean and free from spills or debris.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize all restroom facilities, replenish supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand towels), and ensure they are consistently well-maintained.
- Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
- Spot Cleaning: Address spills and messes promptly to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Equipment & Supplies: Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies.
- Adherence to Standards: Comply strictly with all hygiene, sanitation, and safety guidelines established by the company and local regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- No prior experience is strictly necessary; a strong work ethic, reliability, and an eye for detail are highly valued.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a small team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods, bending, and lifting supplies as required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a positive working environment.
