Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and execution of pastry items to Hathaway’s standards
- Support daily mise en place, including measuring, mixing, and baking tasks
- Uphold consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all pastry offerings
- Monitor inventory and assist in stock rotation to minimize waste
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all pastry workstations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Take initiative in learning and contributing to new pastry creations Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong interest in pastry and dessert preparation
- Excellent attitude and a strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented and meticulous in execution
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience in pastry is a plus, but not mandatory
