ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in bidding & post tenders
- Review /revise legal documents; correspondences; commercial agreements
- Support project teams in administering sub-contracts including progress payments, variation orders and contractual matters
- To evaluate and analyze sub-contractors’ pricings and award of sub contracts
- To prepare specification and sub contract documents with project team
- Manage delayed and disputed costs and variation claims
- Manage,strategize and assist in EOT claims
- To look out for tender opportunities and attend site show-rounds to tenders or visit site to understand the project site conditions.
- To undertake any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent
- Well-versed in construction contract terminology and contract law
- Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience with 6 years in contract and commercial management.
- Experience in projects with contract value in excess of $40 million.
