Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and presented according to quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Manage kitchen stock for daily operation and food cost control
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries according to FIFO (First In First Out) practice
- Assist on month-end stock take
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
- Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
