The Crewing Manager is ensuring that all vessels within the Company's operation are fully manned in accordance with the Company's standards, National and International requirements, Industry requirement and that satisfactory and reliable arrangements are in place for recruiting, training, and updating ships' crew members in order that the Company's vessels are, and continue to be, efficiently and safely manned with competent personnel loyal to the Company and its objectives.
Responsibilities:
.1 Ensures vessels manned and operated to Company's standard and satisfaction of charterers.
.2 Ensures vessels are manned in accordance with legislative and Company's requirements.
.3 Ensure satisfactory performance of Manning Agency Agreement.
.4 Organises his / her department to effectively manage daily operations and planning.
.5 Ensures that his / her position description is kept up to date and that position descriptions are developed and maintained for each subordinate manager under his / her responsibility.
.6 Understanding of relevant rules, regulations, codes and guidance that relate to their job assignment including the Company's Safety, Health, Environmental and Security policy.
.7 Planning and propose staff promotions, compensation and wage adjustments.
.8 Conduct performance audit to the manning agents engaged.
