Alliance Française de Singapour is a Singaporean non-profit educational and cultural organization, affiliated to the international network of Alliance Française.
With a mixed team of Singaporeans and French, and more than 4,000 members of all ages, Alliance Française de Singapour is driven by a mission: promoting French language and building bridges between French and Singaporean cultures through a full-fledged experience, with a language centre, a gallery, a theatre and library. Teaching French classes to all public (2 to 80 years old) for more than 70 years, our courses are rich and varied from private tuition to group sessions, in-house or in companies, from general French language to highly specific objectives, ... It is also the only centre in Singapore to offer diploma-awarding examinations by the French Ministry of Education.
But what makes Alliance Française uniquely vibrant for the students and visitors is possibility to experience a genuine "art de vivre". After replenishing your strength with a viennoiserie at SO France Café, enjoy a guided tour at the gallery and discover more about French art and culture. Then, relax in our award-winning library by grabbing a book while waiting for your evening show or movie to start at the theatre. Every year, we produce more than 200 events under a variety of formats (exhibitions, live performances, screenings, workshops, conferences, ...), each time tackling a theme dear to French culture: gastronomy, fashion, literature, design, love, etc ...
Alliance Française de Singapour is not only a learning space nor an entertainment place, it is a hub where people from all ages and backgrounds can bond over an unparalleled French experience, at the heart of Singapore. So, join the team and participate in creating enticing programmes that build meaningful connections.
