Nityo Infotech Services is looking for a Data Center System Operator (Entry Level). This is a permanent role with Nityo.
- 24/7 standby to cover up to an additional x2 shifts for teammates on Emergency Leave/MC/No Show, etc.
- Remain contactable 24/7 unless on approved overseas leave.
- Monitor alerts and respond accordingly.
- Manage backup tape operations.
- Perform escort duties within the facility.
- Conduct physical checks of systems and environment.
- Execute server reboot procedures as needed.
Secondary Role: Backfill Team Mate Duties
Other DC Operation Tasks - To cover part of the Sys-Ops shift schedule for shift coverage when required
Requirements:
- Min. 'O' Level Pass in Mathematics
- Candidate attending regular academic courses will NOT be considered
- Example of a Typical Shift Pattern (varies with different DCs)
2 rotational shifts: eg. 8.00am - 8.00pm; 8.00pm - 8.00am
- Work · 16 shifts/ 4-weeks. Weekends or PH could be a work day , or off day, depending on the roster
This is the pay structure for entry level Sys Ops, there will be NO other allowances/AWS/Bonus etc.:
- $2000 - $2150 (incl. of shift allowance);
- +1-day salary /PUBLIC HOLIDAY (applies for both shifts or rest days)
