Overview:
Lead day-to-day operations of the Electrical Production team with a focus on manpower planning, cost efficiency, project coordination, and safety compliance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan daily job assignments, manpower, and material needs to meet department KPIs.
- Review technical specs and ensure job scopes are clearly defined and well-executed.
- Manage and forecast manpower and resource requirements for upcoming jobs.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material deliveries and resource allocation.
- Flag potential issues early to Commercial and Production teams.
- Attend and contribute to daily meetings and client discussions.
- Ensure worksite safety, staff discipline, and training development.
- Implement quality, safety, and environmental procedures in daily operations.
- Maintain strong communication across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Drive cost control, reduce material wastage, and ensure proper stock return after project completion.
- Support documentation and auditing efforts (RA, SOP, ORs, etc.).
- Ensure job completion reporting is timely and accurate.
- Promote good housekeeping and safe practices in workshops and onboard vessels.
Requirements:
- 8–10 years’ experience in marine electrical production or related field.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven track record in team management and production operations.
- Familiar with marine regulatory compliance and safety systems.
