The Deputy M&E Site Superintendent is responsible for the timely and accurate installation of M&E Systems & Services in the construction site.
Job Responsibilities
- Deploy and lead workers from subcontractors on the timely and accurate installation of M&E Systems & Services at the project site.
- Supervise and evaluate the quality of the site-works on M&E Systems & Services to meet project requirements.
- Plan and deploy resources and manpower to meet operational needs.
- Evaluate electrical technical / engineering requirements of the repairs / upgrading / servicing work.
- Conduct regular checks and prepare safety reports.
- Resolve any electrical issues on-site.
- Conduct risk assessment of projects and operations on-site.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work productivity.
- Ability to manage and solve complex problems at site.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline from a recognized institution
- At least 5 years of relevant M&E site-work experience with a local A1 main contractor on building related projects (e.g. Condominium, Commercial Office, Mixed Development, Hospitals, Integrated Resort)
- Good working knowledge and experience in M&E Systems and Services
- Proven track-record and experience in deploying and managing workers from subcontractors
- Possess good problem-solving skills, stakeholders’ engagement and management skills, supervisory skills, project management skills
- Able to work in a fast pace and dynamic work environment with minimal supervision. Able to overcome different challenges in an effective and efficient manner
- Possess valid grade 7 / 8 electrical worker license
