We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the successful execution of our projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Setup, testing, implementation, and maintenance of technologies across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Setup, testing, and integration of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Bamboo.
- Architect and develop scalable solutions to meet project and business requirements.
- Work in an agile, cross-functional team, actively engaging to support the success of the team.
- Solve complex technical problems both independently and collaboratively.
- Review and improve work processes by leveraging industry best practices, especially in service support operations for client IT cloud infrastructure.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and implementations.
- Stay up to date with technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, integrating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) into project deliveries.
- Operate, manage, and support IT infrastructure and services to meet prescribed client service levels.
- Ensure all implementations and operations align with client technology standards and policies.
Skills & Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Computer/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies – VMs, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with coding/scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Perl, Python, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in automating OS setup/configuration via scripting is an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of cloud services, concepts, and architectures (AWS, Azure).
- Experience with software development and collaboration tools: GitHub, GitLab, Git, Maven, Gradle, Bamboo.
- Proficiency in CI/CD development using Python, Ansible, and infrastructure automation with Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience in setting up, optimizing, and managing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
- Practical expertise with orchestration tools such as Ansible and Terraform for managing cloud environments.
- Experience in cloud-native application development (e.g., Python, Node.js).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud networking.
- Relevant technical certifications in AWS/Azure are highly desirable.
- General knowledge of IT Security principles and best practices.
