We’re seeking a Curriculum Principal who is passionate about curriculum innovation, research, and supporting educators in creating meaningful learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
The Curriculum Principal will work closely with School Principals, Educators, and HQ teams to ensure our curriculum is of high quality, practical, and aligned with industry standards. This role requires assignment to various schools to observe teams and customize training sessions to meet the needs of teams. The Curriculum Principal will also liaise with relevant agencies on curriculum matters, regulations, and standards.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in early childhood education
- With an additional of a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
- Training of teachers , mentorship and an ACTA cert would highly regarded
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or its equivalent.
- Experience in curriculum development and content creation
- Deep understanding of child development theories and practices
- Strong research and content development capabilities
- Up-to-date with current educational trends and pedagogical practices.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Excellent classroom management skills focusing on positive discipline and pro-social behaviour.
- Creativity and innovation in designing engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to observe, assess, and document children's progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- A growth mindset willing to learn and adapt to new teaching methodologies.
