Join our pioneering team in Singapore! Dingdong Maicai is expanding its B2B fresh grocery delivery model (successfully proven in Dubai) to serve Singapore’s F&B sector. We’re building a dedicated supply chain to deliver fresh produce, groceries, and condiments to businesses (e.g., restaurants, canteens).
This is a full-time on-site role for an Employee Relations Specialist Located in Singapore. The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for managing employee relations and engagement, developing and implementing HR policies, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws.
In this role you will be responsible for...
1. Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and handling related procedures, including but not limited to assisting with the signing/renewal of labor contracts, timely completion of various insurance contributions, and payroll processing/Responsible for the application and maintenance of Work Pass;
2. Coordinate labor relations by collecting, organizing, and analyzing employee concerns, and providing timely feedback and resolution;
3. Initiatively identify any employment relations cases that have potential regulatory conduct rule breaches and proactively escalate such matters to the relevant departments to coordinate resolution strategies;
4. Ensure HR and Employment Law knowledge is up to date and advice is given in line with law and best practice and provide guidance on HR policies, practices and procedures;
5. Provide other support as needed within the Employee Relations team for projects and peak capacity periods as well as broader HR team priorities;
Requirements
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee relations ora similar HR role, or equivalent experience:
2. Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, being highly efficient and able to work autonomously and apply judgment and make decisions on cases and escalations;
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and in-depth knowledge of labor laws and Employment Law;
4. Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information,investigations, and HR matters;
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint Outlook);
6. Bachelor's deqree in Human Resources, Business Administration,or related field preferred:
7. Experience in the administration department is a plus
