About the Role
This role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and delivering of all aspects of the End User Computing environment both physical and virtual. This includes platform stability, security, OS deployments and upgrades, patch management, software packaging and deployments. The incumbent is also expected to design and develop automated processes, system scripts, programs to reduce redundant and manual day-to-day activities for end-user computing team.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
End User Computing Services (Including VVIP Support):
Provide support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals in a financial services environment.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
Respond to remote and onsite requests for software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of standard and in-house applications.
Ensure all VVIP support requests are addressed within 2–4 hours.
Monitor and remediate non-compliant devices related to patches, security and application upgrades.
Collaborate with AIA Group Technology on OS upgrades and application updates.
Provide support for financial applications and trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg).
Manage the full device lifecycle, including provisioning, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies, regulatory requirements, and internal audit standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Automation & Process Optimization:
Develop automated processes and deployment scripts to streamline daily operations.
Deploy updates, applications, and packages using SCCM/UEM.
Coordinate with AIA Group Technology on group-wide projects, updates, and new initiative rollouts.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in EUC support, preferably within financial services or/and trading environments.
Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, SCCM, GPO, O365, Azure, Intune, macOS, MS Teams Rooms.
Hands-on experience with Office 365 platforms including SharePoint, Power Automate, and integration with third-party applications.
Solid understanding of networking protocols and services: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
Knowledge in PowerShell scripting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal, a team-oriented mindset and stakeholders management skills.
A team-player with systematic problem-solving approach and have sense of ownership and drive.
Must have good people skill to work in a team effectively and demonstrable experience of working with level 1 an delve 2 support teams, third-party vendors and various level of stakeholders of large and complex organizations.
Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement with customer in mind when dealing with any situations/projects/deliverables.
Able to negotiate with, influence and engage others in complex and conflicting situations across multiple parties to drive a positive outcome.
Good communication skills and the communication network of the incumbent is expected to be internally within the enterprise (70%) and external with Vendors and Service Providers (30%).
