Job Title: Engineering Technician
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Assist in renovation, carpentry, and installation works (kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, shelving, partitions, etc.).
- Operate and maintain machinery, tools, and equipment used in carpentry and fabrication.
- Support project supervisors in on-site measurements, layout, and technical tasks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and work specifications.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure workmanship meets safety and design standards.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs or adjustments to equipment and fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and proper handling of materials.
- Provide technical support in project setup, execution, and completion.
Requirements
- NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering fields (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience in renovation, carpentry, or technical trade preferred (fresh graduates may apply).
- Able to read basic technical drawings and use measurement tools.
- Knowledge of carpentry machinery, tools, or renovation methods will be an advantage.
- Physically fit and comfortable with on-site work.
- Team player with good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
