Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Equipment Setup and Operation:
Installing, connecting, and configuring audio, video, and lighting equipment for events & outlets.
- Troubleshooting:
Identifying and resolving technical issues during operations, ensuring smooth operation of all systems.
- Event Support:
Collaborating with event organizers, presenters, and performers to meet their technical requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance:
Performing routine maintenance on AV equipment, band equipment, including cleaning, repairs, and inventory management.
- Technical Assistance:
Providing guidance and support to colleagues, presenters, performers, and attendees on using AV equipment.
- Pre-Event & Pre-Entertainment Testing:
Conducting thorough testing of all equipment beforehand to ensure functionality and compatibility.
- Post-Event Breakdown:
Carefully dismantling and packing equipment after events for storage or transport.
- AV Design & Layout:
Propose various recommendations on Outlet & Events AV setup and layout. Work with the various vendors to ensure the AV system is best-in-class and liaise with the Maintenance Department for installation requirements and implementation.
- Inter Departmental Relations:
Work with the Maintenance Department to ensure all work matters are managed in a suitable manner with support being given to cover days absent or when additional technological experience is required.
- Ad-Hoc:
And any other duties deemed necessary by your supervisor.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of audio, video, and lighting equipment, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues during events.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with event organizers, presenters, and team members.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, work long hours, and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in equipment setup, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing event needs and work in various venues and environments.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and technical support to event attendees.
