Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute projects single-handedly and/or as a team, including managing of project budgets and liaising with vendors
- Work with partners and stakeholders to support and co-ordinate event preparation and operations
- Provide secretariat support to working committee(s)
- Manage crisis and develop contingency plans
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent
- Candidates with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in event management preferred; applicants will be considered for junior or senior roles based on years of relevant experience
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese, with good written and verbal communication skills to work with both English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders. A good command of English is preferred
- Able to multi-task, work independently and as a team
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Able to work under tight deadlines and perform under stress
- Willing to work on occasional weekends when required
