You will report to Senior Manager (Business Planning) and work closely with business partners to develop and maintain reports/dashboards, to support the organization’s business planning and decision-making using data from external vendors and agencies, including but not limited to: price survey, price elasticity, market share.

You will be responsible for the monthly tracking and review of select product classes, and is required to collaborate closely with team mates in charge of FairPrice internal data, in order to holistically review the categories and provide actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities
  • Gain deep understanding of select product classes in order to conduct analysis or deep dive with a focus on pricing and promotions, as well as comparison versus competitors/market using various data sources
  • Build strong relationship with stakeholders to stay abreast of current developments of select product classes
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis on market share, price, and promo to tackle business challenges, summarize findings, and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Develop and manage timely, comprehensive, and accurate reporting systems to support business planning
  • Assist in crafting reports and presentations for management
  • Improve on existing processes to increase efficiency
  • Keep track of the progress of ongoing initiatives and ensure that stakeholders are informed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
  • Degree in any discipline / Diploma holders with related experience may also apply
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Relevant Knowledge and Experience
  • Working experience in retail industry is a plus, preferably with experience in global consumer packaged goods
  • Financial, modelling and data analytics skill with strong business acumen are good to have
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable data and presentation
  • Experience with pricing and promotion is a plus
  • Experience creating Tableau Dashboard is a plus
