Role Description
Nomura IWM's Investment Products & Advisory Solutions (IPAS) division is seeking an Executive Director level professional to be part of the FX team involved in trading and platform activities for the business. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in foreign exchange trading and platform development, particularly focusing on both day and night trading operations. The ideal candidate will contribute to business development initiatives for Nomura's IWM FX business, manage trading infrastructure, and optimize platform architecture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee trading operations, enhancing platform capabilities, managing risk culture through transparent escalation protocols, and handling critical situations such as margin calls and stop losses.
- Increase wealth management clients’ activity and penetration in FX
- Collaborate and work closely with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors in driving and growing FX business
- Constantly engage with Relationship Managers and clients to understand their product and investment needs, roll out new FX products and ideas.
- Responsible for FX direct client execution coverage.
- To work closely with Risk and Control team to ensure proper control, periodic monitoring activities and timely resolution of any risk issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 10 years or more of relevant experience in the FX markets in Private Bank or Global Markets
- Good understanding and knowledge of FX markets and products including Cash, Derivatives and Structured Products
- A person of high integrity and possess sound understanding of regulatory and compliance environment
- Able to work under high stress environment
- Good communication skills, presentation skills and computer skills
