Responsibilities
- Operational Management:
- Plan and monitor inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Manage warehouse operations, including stock audits, cycle counts, and loss prevention.
- Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Process Optimization:
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve workflow and reduce lead times.
- Analyze logistics KPIs (e.g., OTIF, freight costs) and report findings to senior management.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to local/international regulations (e.g., customs, hazardous materials).
- Promote workplace safety protocols and sustainability initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Liaise with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align logistics with business goals.
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries related to shipping delays or damages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management.
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred).
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS platforms
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
