Our client is a SGX listed group which is well established in the real estate industry. Its global HQ is in Singapore and the office is based in town.
For this role, you will manage 2 staff and perform the following:
- Review monthly reporting and analytical review of variances
- Review forecast and budget
- Responsible for submission of statutory returns including MAS forms, GST returns, corporate income tax and XBRL filing
- Prepare and review statutory financial statement
- Prepare and maintain records and documentation for compliance related matters
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on necessary actions
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory, regulatory and SGX/MAS requirements
- Review and maintain financial policies, enhancing existing internal controls or improve/streamline finance reporting processes
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agents and external service providers
- Prepare/review of monthly consolidated accounts and quarterly rolling forecast with analysis
- Prepare/review of monthly reporting to trustee and head office
- Assist in annual group budget process
- Assist in preparation of group financial statements, annual report and board papers
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- 7 to 13 years of relevant accounting and/or audit experience
- Added exposure to REIT /real industry is useful but this is not a must
- Resilient, meticulous, responsible and resourceful. Also a good multi tasker who is a fast learner.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
