The title for this position is Fitness Instructor (Project Management). You must have worked at least 3 years in event management performing roles in bidding, planning, managing resources as well as managing the event day. And you must be someone with great passion in sport and fitness. Having obtained any fitness certificates will be added advantage but not mandatory as we have planned for courses to let you achieve this. However, you must be ready at all times to be deployed to various part of Singapore as part of the project manpower.
You shall be required to perform 2 roles, as a project executive, or as a fitness trainer in to conduct workout sessions (for physical and virtual sessions) and to stand in for absentees. You shall be working 6 days a week and up to 44 hours per week. Your official work time is from 11:00AM to 08:00PM but you shall be flexible in your time as and when it is needed. We are in a fast-moving industry, you ought to be someone who may keep up.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the manpower required for various projects, including deployment and recruitment of new staffs. You shall also provide counselling to the manpower that fail to comply with the requirement or the procedures and guidelines of the projects.
- Conduct induction for trainers and facilitators newly join.
- Be the project manager on the ground. You must be prepared for the need to be at site to manage issues and problems as and when these arise. This is not a back-office position.
- Monitor the quality of events and implement procedures and guidelines to improve
- Investigate and write incident reports
- Compile monthly reports for the commercial clients Be a Fitness Trainer for workout sessions; conduct and lead a group of participants to do workout.
Requirement
- At least 3 years of work experience in event management
- Having a Certified Personal Trainer certificate or other fitness certificates is an added advantage
- At minimum a Diploma in any business or marketing studies, or a Diploma in Sport Science or equivalent.
- Good influencing and communication skill
- Good written and spoken English
- Able to adapt to busy and fast-moving work environment
- To be flexible in work hours as and when is needed
