Job Summary
Are you passionate about design, creativity, and inspiring young minds? We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Freelance Architecture Instructors to lead engaging sessions where children step into the shoes of young architects.
In this Architecture CCA program, students aged 7–14 explore the world of building design and construction. Using hands-on materials and digital tools like SketchUp, they’ll learn to plan, sketch, and model dream structures—from homes to skyscrapers—while developing spatial awareness, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
This role is ideal for students, graduates, educators, or makers interested in architecture, design, or STEM education. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required—training will be provided!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging lessons on architecture, design, and building concepts.
- Guide students through hands-on and digital projects , from sketching to 3D modeling.
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and design thinking in class.
- Ensure safe and effective use of materials and digital tools.
- Communicate with parents and program staff to ensure smooth delivery of sessions.
Key Requirements
- Passion for architecture, design, or built environments .
- Enjoy working with children and inspiring curiosity.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and well-prepared for each session.
- Commitment: 6-month term (school term only, no holiday/weekend classes).
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required)
- Experience teaching or mentoring students.
- Familiarity with SketchUp or other design software.
- Background in architecture, design, or related fields.
