Overview of the Merchandise Analyst role
The eCommerce team is responsible for delivering a superior site experience for the customer, using data and customer insights to deliver easy, inspiring product discovery and helpful, intuitive, content-rich product pages.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver a seamless, friction-free, shopping experience online.
Responsibilities
- Perform product builds and UAT (Seasonal as well as weekly checks)
- Perform regular incremental updates/maintenance of the web assortment, adhering to the standards of our US sites
- Monitoring the performance of Related Product setup and Group-to-Category setup
- Create/build out categories, thumbnails and visual navigation set up and quarterly updates
- Perform season copy/delete
- Update SEO copy when required
- Managing promotion set-up and takedown
- Resolve/fix PIP (Product Information Page) issues raised by merchants and stores
- Continual review of sites conducting PIP and site scrubs to ensure a seamless and accurate shopping experience
- Support ad-hoc projects as assigned
- Work across multiple platforms including Adobe Experience Manager, Airtable, Curalate and Constructor Build and maintain relationships based on thorough planning, timely and professional communications, and intelligent problem-solving with internal partners, and cross-functional resources.
Criteria
- Min tertiary qualification and 2 years of e-commerce or related experience (candidates with less experience can be considered for the Specialist position)
- Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and provide creative solutions
- Strong affinity for the products and brands
- Proven analytical, business planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, fast pace, and a changing environment
- Experience working in a global business and across multiple time zones
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel skills (working knowledge with pivot tables and v-lookups)
