APCO Singapore office is looking for an HR Advisor who can provide day-to-day administrative and advisory support across a range of human resources functions to ensure smooth HR operations in the region. This role serves as a key liaison between employees, managers, and the HR team, ensuring processes are handled efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company policies and local regulations.
What We’re Looking
For A hands-on and proactive HR Advisor with a strong foundation in core HR principles. Brings a passion for employee support and a desire to grow into a strategic business partner over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for assigned internal client groups, managing and delivering an excellent HR service
- Advise managers and employees on local business requirements and legal compliance
- Coach and advise employees and line managers on a day to day basis in effective people management
- Consult on and implement HR strategy together with HR Director and Chief Talent Officer
- Provide payroll and benefits administration support by liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, orientation coordination, and exit formalities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data integrity standards
- Manage recruitment and relevant budgets
- Coordinate performance review cycles
- Manage employee relations issues
- Deliver employee training and on-boarding event management
- Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and internal audit controls; assist with audit preparation and reporting
- Manage intercompany transfers in coordination with global HR team and Global Mobility
- Support delivery of HR projects and change initiatives in line with global HR strategy
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR processes, systems, and documentation templates

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4 years of HR experience in an administrative or generalist capacity
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems and MS Office tools
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Familiarity with local labor regulations and HR best practices
- Strong teamwork skills
- Proactive approach with attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Highly motivated and results-oriented
- Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
