Role Overview:
Business Partner
- Act as a strategic HR partner to designated business units, understanding their goals and challenges, and providing HR solutions to meet their needs
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and employees to drive a culture of high performance and engagement
- Ability to effectively engage and influence wide range of stakeholders
Employee Relations
- Review and update HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Provide guidance and address issues on employee and industrial relations, providing counsel to both employees and management to resolve conflicts, liaise with external agencies, in adherence to company policies and legal requirements
- Handle employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations, ensuring fair and compliant resolutions
- Collaborate closely with union representatives to resolve workforce issues in a cooperative and constructive manner
Total Rewards
- Provide support for implementation and administration of compensation policies and programs
HR Data
- Compile, analyze and report HR metrics such as headcount, budget, people movement, attrition and employee engagement statistics to deliver timely and accurate reports both local and globally
- Manage the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday, Tableau & BIPO systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
HR Operations
- Partner with People Operations on Tier 2 queries submitted by employees on Service Cloud
- Review and evaluate foreign work pass-related matters (i.e. new applications, renewals, cancellations)
- Monitor employment legislation changes and ensure internal practices align with local regulations, including updating Employee Handbook and site communication.
- Collaborate with and advise Payroll Team on matters relating to employee salary disputes and concerns
Talent
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify talent needs and implement strategies for talent acquisition, development, and retention
- Partner and support hiring managers in the recruitment process
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent calibration
- Execute workforce planning to identify and monitor potentials and talents for succession and development planning management
HR Projects
- Participate and/or lead in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives in selected key processes or expertise areas by collaborating with HR team and across all departments
- Ensure effective dissemination of HR-related information across the organization
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple clients and partners and demonstrated experience working independently with strong attention to details.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of working experience as a HR Operations or HR Generalist role or 4 years experience in full fledge HR Business Partner in a manufacturing or related environment
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and in-depth application knowledge of Employment Act
- Hands-on experience and familiarity with Workday and Tableau – maintain on processes to ensure integrity of eligibility data within Workday
