We are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidates with good interpersonal skills for the position of interior designer. The interior designer's key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design plans as per client goals, sourcing products and materials, determining costs, and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications are met. You will also be expected to comply with the regulatory environment around inspections and building codes.
Responsibilities
- To undertake designs through all stages from concept to completion.
- Defining project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
- Interpreting and translating customer needs into rough plans
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
- Produce “sample” and “mood products”.
- Work closely with designers, decorators, architects, and constructors
Requirements:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or equivalent qualifications.
- A flair for design and good knowledge of interior detailing.
- Min 3 years of working experience.
- Working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions) is preferred.
- Creative talent, an eye for design, and able to work and solve challenges independently
- Possesses excellent people skills, and is a good team player, with good Communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
