Job Description: IT Executive
Position Overview
The IT Executive is responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to ensure smooth and secure operations. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining hardware and software, supporting users, and assisting in implementing new technologies aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
Diagnose and resolve IT-related problems promptly to minimize downtime. - System & Network Administration
Monitor and maintain servers, network equipment, and computer systems.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across systems.
Ensure IT infrastructure is updated, secured, and functioning efficiently. - Software & Hardware Management
Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
Manage IT assets including computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and coordinate procurement when needed. - Cybersecurity & Compliance
Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices.
Conduct regular data backups and recovery tests.
Monitor for cybersecurity threats and coordinate mitigation measures. - Projects & Continuous Improvement
Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Research and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and security.
Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
