Pertinent Law LLP is hiring! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our firm.
This role will primarily support legal work related to Wills, Power of Attorney (POA), Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), Grants of Probate / Letters of Administration etc. The candidate will also gain exposure in preparation of various conveyancing documents
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely completion of cases for Estate Planning including Wills, POA, LPA, Grants of Probate / Letters of Administration
- Assist in drafting and preparing Wills, POAs, and LPAs
- Manage case files and documentation through to case completion
- Perform general administrative duties related to legal casework and preparation of various conveyancing documents
- Coordinate and manage appointments, meetings, and calendar schedules
Requirement:
- Min. Diploma in Law or related field
- Prior experience or having internship in a legal / administrative role is an added advantage
- Familiar with legal terminology is an added advantage
- No prior experience required as full training is provided by a dedicated mentor
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable to work outside of official work hours / work days, if required
