We are seeking
a highly motivated Datamart Reporting Consultant to work on a customer facing role to
drive one of our client's Murex activities and projects with key responsibilities given as below:
- Gather
requirements, impact analysis, development and support for change requests,
projects and new product development.
- Follow
strictly to project processes.
- Provide
production support and participate in implementation projects in Murex
Datamart/ Interface Streams.
- Develop
expertise and participate in the build of Murex Interface/ Reporting solutions.
- Develop
Trade workflows and interfaces to set up communication between external
platforms and Murex to receive trade and other data feeds, process them, save
into the system, and send acknowledgement.
- Use a combination of MxML Exchange,
MxOpenConnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart to successfully deliver such
solutions.
- Provide
technical support to customers, ensuring successful follow up of issues from
notification to resolution and validation.
- Develop
and maintain end-to-end configuration management packages, such as Install,
Deploy, and Test Murex Packaged interfaces like MDIT (market data interface
tool), Markitwire, BSMT, and MarkitCredit to receive live and end-of-day data
from external providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, etc...
- Integrate
with various teams to deliver the right solution to client.
Requirements
- Master's
or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Computer Engineering, Financial
Engineering, Data Science or relevant discipline.
- Min 2-5
years of Murex experience on Datamart and Interface Datamart - Reports
Development, Batch of Feeders/ extractions OR
Interface - MxML Interface, Workflow. - Fresh
Grads are very welcome to apply.
- Experience
in build, configuration and testing of Reports/ Interface.
- Good
understanding of Murex DataModel, Dynamic Tables and Viewers.
- Hands-on
experience with Murex MxML Exchange.
- Solid
programming skill with Java (Apache Camel).
- Familiar
with SQL, XML, Linux, Unix system commands, and Shell Scripting.
- Excellent
communication skills, able to handle multiple projects, priorities and manage
business expectations.
- Must be
customer driven, have the ability to work within a team environment, and be
focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
- Strong
and demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.
