Key Responsibilities:
- Development of power electronics for battery chargers.
- Topology selection, circuit design, component selection, and power loss calculations.
- Schematic and PCB layout design.
- Creating and executing test and verification plans.
- Ensuring safety and certification compliance.
- Promptly resolving design issues.
- Liaising with various stakeholders.
- Effective communication within a diverse team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in power electronics design.
- Proficiency in topology selection, circuit design, component selection, and power loss calculations.
- Experience in CC/CV charger systems and working on power supplies with power levels >500W.
- Previous experience of using wide bandgap devices will be a plus.
- Knowledge of digital and analog control methods will be a plus.
- Working experience in schematic design and PCB layout software, e.g. OrCAD, PADS, or other equivalent software
- Familiar with simulation tools, e.g. LTspice, PSIM, or other equivalent software
- Acquainted with test equipment such as AC/DC source, electronic load, oscilloscope, and soldering iron.
- Experience in volume manufacturing.
