Job Description
Fnp Cakes Pte Ltd is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper / Cleaner to join our team at our Mandai facility. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen while supporting daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Sanitizing:
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment by washing utensils, equipment, and surfaces.
- Perform regular cleaning of floors, walls, and storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Kitchen Assistance:
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing and cutting ingredients, under supervision.
- Organize and store kitchen tools and equipment appropriately.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Waste Management:
- Handle and dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables according to company policies.
- Ensure garbage bins are regularly emptied and cleaned.
- General Support:
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Assist team members with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Prior experience in kitchen cleaning or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Physically fit to handle tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
