The Lead, Marketing and Communications, will lead and implement strategic marketing and communications efforts for National GRIP, with the goal of enhancing programme's visibility, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and attracting high-potential deep-tech teams from across Singapore’s RIE ecosystem to join National GRIP.
Strategic Communications & Branding
- Develop and execute a cohesive marketing and communications strategy that reinforces the National GRIP brand and mission.
- Shape programme narratives and ensure consistent messaging across digital, print, media, and stakeholder touchpoints.
- Manage brand identity and storytelling, highlighting programme outcomes, spinoffs, and impact.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with NTU and other ecosystem partners to co-develop outreach strategies and content.
- Support the Steering Committee and leadership with communication materials and reporting.
- Manage relationships with media to amplify National GRIP's presence
Programme Marketing
- Lead recruitment campaigns to attract deep-tech startup teams across Singapore.
- Organize and market select events such as Lift-Off Days, mixers, roadshows, and workshops.
- Create marketing collateral (presentations, videos, success stories) for stakeholder outreach
Digital & Content Management
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, website content, newsletters, and SEO.
- Produce compelling content, including articles, interviews, infographics, and startup showcases.
- Monitor and analyze marketing KPIs to refine strategies and report on reach and effectiveness
Internal Communication & Support
- Coordinate with internal teams members to align messaging across the programme.
- Support communication needs for key programme milestones.
- Ensure effective dissemination of programme materials, guides, and announcements.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in innovation, entrepreneurship, or international trade.
- Demonstrated experience in brand building, strategic comms, digital marketing, and media engagement
Skills & Competencie
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and channels.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align diverse messaging needs.
- Proficient in using marketing tools and social media platforms.
